As part of our holiday events with our sister churches Petra and Cross & Crown, make plans to join us in the evening of Friday, December 18 for a Lessons and Carols gathering from 6:30-7:30pm at DPC in the Mission. This advent tradition has been observed since the late 19th century, telling the gospel story of the fall, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus in nine short Bible readings interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols and hymns. It’s an evening full of joy and one of our favorite nights of the year!
